We are a membership organisation but anybody can come along and join in to see what it is like first.

Free for the first 3 times you attend. Full membership costs £5 per year and £2 for each session you attend to cover refreshments.

Generally, our members are retired, have a life time of experience and want to continue to share their skills and knowledge to help others.

We have a temporary base to work from but we own a building in the middle of Abergele and have an exciting plan to renovate it as a permanent community hub.

Our members decide on what they do. Current projects are mainly woodworking but we welcome members with other skills or hobbies that can be shared with members or the community

Sometimes, but a lot of our work is to support the community and help with repairs for which we ask a donation.

We can help if you want to know something or you can be part of a team to share your knowledge or learn from others.

We have lots of tools and equipment to share.

Members contribute in a number of ways including administrative work; translation into Welsh; support the Committee; organise events or distribute any publicity material.

Everybody is a volunteer. Your commitment is to do what you can; when you can.

All our members operate under their own steam We can help members get support if they need it.

Abergele is one of 80 Men’s Sheds in Wales. There are over 500 in the UK and an estimated 3000 around the world operating in 12 countries from Australia to America.
