We recently applied to the National Lottery for a grant to create a community hub just behind Market Street. We purchased the building shell in 2021. It now has planning consent and the plans for its refurbishment have already been funded by the National Lottery. Our latest application is for £500,000 to turn the shell into a thriving centre for the community. The plan is to have 2 floors with workshops and café on the ground floor and a meeting/ activity room for 35 people on the first floor. We aim to have the project completed by the end of 2024.
